Burn money! Israel spent 7.8 billion to 9.7 billion yuan to "fight" one night, while Iran's attack cost less than one tenth

According to Rim Aminoch, a financial advisor to the former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, Israel spent as much as 4 billion to 5 billion shekels (approximately 7.8 billion to 9.7 billion yuan) overnight on emergency defense operations in response to Iran's missile attacks.

Armino explained the composition of this huge expense, pointing out that it includes various expenses for deploying advanced defense systems. These systems not only include rocket systems used to intercept ballistic missiles, but also missile systems specifically designed to deal with cruise missiles, as well as fighter jets specifically designed to shoot down drones.

Aminoch revealed that launching an "arrow" missile for intercepting ballistic missiles would cost $3.5 million (approximately RMB 25.33 million). The cost of each missile used for intercepting medium range missiles, the "David's Stone Thrower" defense system, also reached 1 million US dollars (approximately 7.24 million yuan). This huge expenditure is in stark contrast to the relatively low cost of launching an attack by Iran. It is estimated that Iran's expenses are less than 10% of the cost required for Israel to intercept the attack.

Shaun Sheikh, a researcher at the Missile Defense Program of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a US think tank, stated that the estimated cost for Iran to launch a domestically produced unidirectional attack drone is at most $2000 (approximately RMB 14500), while the larger Shahed-136 drone is worth approximately $20000 (approximately RMB 145000).

There are reports that the cost of Iran launching a ballistic missile is generally £ 80000 (approximately RMB 720000) or more. The United States estimates that Iran has approximately 3000 ballistic missiles, making it one of the largest missile arsenals in the Middle East region.

When it comes to Israel's defense budget, Aminoch mentioned that the budget allocated to the Israeli Defense Forces last year was approximately 60 billion shekels (approximately RMB 116.4 billion). This means that once an air defense network is operated in response to Iran's large-scale airstrikes, it could consume about 7.5% of Israel's annual defense budget in one night. Aminoch further pointed out that if the annual defense budget cannot be doubled, Israel will find it difficult to maintain sufficient defense capabilities in the event of a confrontation with Iran.
