On April 12, Mr. Tie from Shandong complained about his experience on social media, and said that he had repeatedly called his blood donor, Rizhao Central Blood Station, but no one answered the phone. On April 14th, staff from the central blood station in Rizhao told Da Wan News reporters that a few days ago, they received a call from Mr. Tie and actively coordinated to solve the problem. On April 12th, a netizen posted on social media claiming to be from Juxian County, Rizhao City, Shandong Province. He is a senior unpaid blood donor who has donated blood 13 times over the past decade, totaling 4900 milliliters, and has won the National Bronze Award. The post shows that the netizen's surname is Tie. On April 10th, Mr. Tie's wife underwent surgery at a hospital in Jinan due to illness, and blood preparation was required before the surgery. The hospital informed him that he must donate blood in order to prepare blood. Mr. Tie showed his blood donation record to the medical staff, but was told that he couldn't use it in Jinan because he donated blood in Rizhao.
Mr. Tie provided a screenshot of his blood donation footprint in the post, which showed that he donated whole blood 13 times, with a total donation volume of 4900ml.

Mr. Tie stated in the post that he later contacted the Rizhao Blood Station for help. "At first, he said he wanted to coordinate, but in the end, he didn't even answer the phone. The screenshot of the call record in the post shows that from around 9am to 10am on April 11th, Mr. Tie made multiple calls to the Rizhao Central Blood Station, but was unable to connect. At around 5 pm on the 10th, the downtown blood station in Rizhao called Mr. Tie for a duration of 50 seconds.
On April 14th, a reporter from Da Wan News contacted Mr. Tie through a private message on social media, but did not receive a response as of the time of publication.

On April 14th, a reporter from Da Wan News contacted the central blood station in Rizhao, Shandong. A staff member told reporters, "We have coordinated with him and resolved this issue. We have prepared blood for him, but his surgery went smoothly and was of no use."
Why did Mr. Tie repeatedly call the blood station but no one answered? The staff member stated that after Mr. Tie reported a problem to the downtown blood station in Rizhao on April 10th, the station helped him contact and coordinate on the same day. "Provincial blood feedback said that coordination has been done, and after delivering blood to the hospital, we also contacted him (Mr. Tie)." The staff member said that there may have been a communication problem in the middle, which made Mr. Tie think it was not done well. Therefore, on April 11th, he contacted the blood station by phone again, but the staff member did not receive a call due to participating in work activities outside.
