According to the website of National Interest magazine on the 13th, Russia has deployed its most advanced Su-57 stealth fighter jets to strike more than 40 targets in Ukraine.

The report quoted an unnamed Ukrainian Air Force official as saying that Russian Su-57 fighter jets have been used to carry out "over 40 attacks" on targets within Ukraine in recent months. The use of this stealth fighter jet in combat is becoming increasingly frequent. Although Russia only occasionally deployed the Su-57 fighter jet before, its intensity and frequency of use have significantly increased now.

It is reported that the British Ministry of Defense once said in a report released in January this year that the Su-57 fighter planes of the Russian Air and Space Army "have only been used several times" since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. However, since the beginning of this year, the use of the Su-57 has significantly increased. This fighter jet has been used to launch more than 30 cruise missiles, including the Kh-69 stealth cruise missile, which was used to destroy a thermal power plant on the outskirts of Kiev on April 11 this year. The launch site was outside Ukrainian airspace.

The report believes that it is currently impossible to confirm the number of times the Su-57 was used to launch missiles at Ukrainian targets, but based on existing information, it is speculated that the Russian military used this stealth fighter jet to strike Ukrainian targets in Russian airspace.

According to a report by the Bulgarian Military Network on September 12th, there are records showing that Russian Su-57 fighter jets launched an attack on Ukraine on September 4th. According to the Ukrainian military intelligence department, these fighter jets are mainly used for long-range strikes.

According to the report analysis, one of the significant features of the Su-57 fighter jet is the ability to use the Kh-69 cruise missile, which has been used in small quantities since the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, but little is known about the operational details. This missile can evade interception by air defense systems, and coupled with its ability to be deployed and launched on Su-57 fighter jets, it has been proven to be very effective in breaking through Ukraine's air defense systems.

On the 12th, the Bulgarian Military Network also reported that Sukhoi Aviation Group had delivered two Su-57 fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces, according to the official account of the Russian United Aviation Manufacturing Company on social media. Although the manufacturer did not disclose the specific delivery quantity, only two Su-57s are displayed on the screen. The National Interest believes that although Russia is vigorously promoting the performance of the Su-57, it has been difficult to mass produce this fighter jet.
