Starting tomorrow, China Eastern Airlines C919 will operate the Beijing Shanghai route

On January 8th, a reporter from Pengpai News learned through the China Eastern Airlines APP that the C919 aircraft model is being used on the Beijing Shanghai route. On January 9th, flight MU5137 was operated by C919 aircraft, departing from Shanghai Hongqiao at 15:30 and landing in Beijing Daxing at 17:55. The economy class ticket price started at 704 yuan. Flight MU5138 is operated by C919 aircraft, departing from Beijing Daxing at 19:15 and landing at Shanghai Hongqiao at 21:10. The economy ticket price starts at 736 yuan. In addition, according to the current scheduling plan on the China Eastern Airlines APP, there will be one daily round-trip flight between Beijing and Shanghai operated by C919 for the next two weeks.

On January 2nd of this year, China Eastern Airlines officially joined the fleet of the fourth C919 large passenger aircraft (aircraft number B-919E), which was newly received, on a transfer flight. In terms of route operation, all three C919 aircraft delivered to China Eastern Airlines previously operated the "Shanghai Hongqiao Chengdu Tianfu" Air Express. According to China Eastern Airlines' previously disclosed plan, the C919 will gradually expand more routes in the future. After being put into commercial passenger operation, the C919 will appear on high-quality boutique routes in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Kunming, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen and other places.
